Fantasy Gathering A dash of wizardry and dragons
Spartacus!
Looks like Starz found a replacement for Spartacus! Australian Actor Liam McIntyre Taking Over Starz ‘Spartacus’ Role From Andy Whitfield Liam has some pretty big shoes to fill. I absolutely loved ‘Spartacus: Blood and Sand’ and totally look forward to the prequel, ‘Spartacus: Gods of the Arena’. It begins airing this Friday on the 21st […]
Troll (1986)
I was flipping through the channels and saw that this movie was about to air soon so I decided to sit down and watch it. I had seen this before but didn’t really remember much from it except apartments turning into forests. The movie starts out with a boy named Harry Potter – No, really! […]
Exploring Dragon World
I got bored late last night and decided to venture into the free little world that was given to those who registered a year of cit during the Activeworlds sale. I didn’t see ‘Dragon’ listed so I was like… “Try ‘Dragon’. If the world name isn’t taken, hooray!” and it turns out it wasn’t. The […]
Hard to stay on top of things!
I’ll admit, I am not very good when it comes to reading books or watching movies. While people rave about the most popular books and movies, I … don’t tend to do anything. It’s a real pain in the butt to pop a DVD in and watch. I still haven’t seen Avatar, The Last Airbender, […]
Princess Mary’s Gift Book – Done
Finally finished the book. Took too long. Some of the short stories were neat but some of the others were boring. Princess Mary’s Gift Book (1914) 140 pages Hodder & Stoughton List of Stories: (Bolding the ones I liked!) A Holiday in Bed – J. M. Barrie The Spy – G. A. Birmingham Charlie the […]
How To Train Your Dragon
Finally watched “How To Train Your Dragon”. I absolutely loved it. It’s about a young boy named Hiccup who wants to be a dragon slayer just like his father and the rest of the vikings at Berk. One of his little contraptions work too well and sets him on an adventure where he befriends a […]
What is AW? – Extreme Builder Talent Show 4
What is ActiveWorlds? I was asked to explain what ActiveWorlds is. I normally blog about AW at my very old tripod site (Blog) but I guess I can start blogging about it here! It’s a universe where you can build to your heart’s content. Tourists can build for free but anyone can delete your builds. […]
Happy New Year! Resolutions!
So 2011 is about to come splashing onto the scene in less than four hours from now. Of course, that’s when the usual topic comes up about resolutions. What do you resolve to do? I guess my top three list would go like this: 1. Books I seriously have to start reading. I don’t see […]
