Fantasy Gathering A dash of wizardry and dragons
Dragon Prince by Melanie Rawn
I think I have to call it quits on this book. I’m 228 pages in but haven’t had the interest to pick it up and keep reading it. It’s been sitting on the edge of my desk for weeks now. I don’t think it’s boring or anything but it just seems to go on and […]
Trying to remember two children stories…
While watching “Moon” (2009 – The one about Sam Bell and GERTY! It was slow and boring yet interesting at times.), the movie reminded me of two stories. 1. A story about Earth failing. I believe it was about a little girl who was told that she could only take one item with her and […]
Bear
You know, I fought back and forth on whether or not I should blog about it. I didn’t want to come back and re-visit this post over and over. I finally decided I should say something about him. Bear passed away yesterday on February 8th, 2011. I guess it’s hard to figure out what to […]
Glaucus Atlanticus – Blue Dragon
While my friend was looking through images of animals such as marmosets, tamarins, and the like… I decided to hit google for any other unusual animals – only to come across this! Glaucus Atlanticus! Isn’t it just the neatest thing? My friend says that I’m only reacting to it because it’s blue but… Some bits […]
Snow Dragon
As soon as I heard about this, I had to blog it! “Minneapolis has a ‘Snow Dragon’ to melt snow on its roads.” (About 1:10 into the clip.)
Guild Wars
Well, Melika finally convinced me to try the free trial of Guild Wars. She and her friends used to play Perfect World last year before they lost interest (Sound familiar to another friend? Yeah, I’m looking at you.) but their attention turned to Guild Wars 2, a game that hasn’t come out yet. I wasn’t […]
Selling off GBA & Games
It’s tough. I own a Nintendo Game Boy Advance (Well, two of ’em but one is in cruddy condition) as well as a few GBA games. I keep trying to convince myself to post them on the local selling site to make some money before they become practically useless. DS and DS lite has the […]
Third place in Holiday Village Contest
Wow, Imagine my surprise when I logged into ActiveWorlds and found a few telegrams of people congratulating me. The results of the Holiday Village was revealed! I raised a brow and said, “Surely there must be some mistake!” This is the first time I ever placed in the top three of a contest held in […]
Gnomeo and Juliet
What else is there to say? This is hilarious. Seems release date is February 11, 2011.
Nintendo 3DS
Wow, looks like they announced that the Nintendo 3DS comes out on March 27th for $250. A friend pointed out that he seemed to be most excited at the fact that there’ll just be one friend code – the 3DS itself instead of a code generated from each game in order to connect with friends. […]
