Happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate it!
Still chugging along. My story almost came to an end very quickly but I thought of some extra scenes that would work nicely and add more so that I can try and give it a somewhat exciting end. I just hope I can stretch it out and meet the daily word goal all the way to the 30th. It feels like I’m right next to the end yet again and I have to force myself to throw more wrenches in. “Okay, and then that happens! And that happens! Toss that in!”
I’ve seen a couple videos on youtube about NaNoWriMo where there’s clips of people typing away. I can’t help but laugh because it’s not like that for me. I’ll write a sentence or two and then sit around and try to figure out what happens next. Stretch that over the next six hours and I finally meet the daily word goal of 1,667 words.
Not including today (since I haven’t written anything), I have 44,992 words. I’m really blown away. I never ever thought I’d make it this far. I still chuckle when I think back to before November started that I was so convinced I’d write for two or three days before calling it quits.
