I’ll have to settle on this as a first day word count. 928 words. A far cry from 1,667+ words for first day count. Am I upset or bothered? Nah. I don’t know if it’s because I’m coming down from November’s session or something but deep inside me, a voice keeps telling me to just ‘take it easy’ this time. If it’s not coming, I don’t want to stress myself for hours on end. It’ll come when it comes…
This might change down the road if I get in the mood to hammer out a higher word count though.
All I got so far is Alice, the main character, interacting with her family a little bit and then heading to the store where a new book has just hit the shelves. No ideas are coming to me just yet but again, I just want to take it easy. I’ll have to look at my fantasy world and see what else is going on in there that’ll add to the main story.
